I wholeheartedly recommend A Visitor’s Haven! My dad had to have unexpected open heart surgery and I live in California and knew his house was not set up for recovery. My sister found A Visitor’s Haven and immediately Meme was so generous, supportive and helpful. She not only was flexible and accessible, she was also so thoughtful about the significance of how scary and serious my dad’s surgery was. She offered her prayers and clearly cared about his progress as well as my well-being. The house was so perfect for my dad’s recovery. It was warm and cozy. It had all the amenities you could imagine, including bath bombs and a welcome basket with delicious goodies. It was perfectly set up to make it easy for my dad. No stairs to climb, a very comfortable bed, warm blankets, a big tv, an electric fireplace, super comfortable couches that reclined. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils and gadgets needed for cooking. It’s so obvious that Meme thought of everything one would need to feel at ease and comfortable for both the person recovering and the family members taking care of that person. I will forever be grateful for the amazing experience we had with Meme and A Visitor’s Haven.
